i guess certain businesses don't help either by increasing their inventory prices by 50-100% over the last year.

Yes its going mad!  :shocked: I don't know whether there is a shortage (as so much stuff keeps appearing on ebay) or whether people are cashing in as there are so many peeps like us after parts all the time... who knows... all I do know is, the prices are fookin mental on certain things and in most cases on some parts you'd never recoup your money....

I see that that DJnosh sold a set of NOS Hutch beartraps for £350 yesterday. How much did he lose on those considering he was buying them at £500 a piece a few weeks back! These big time buyers are either very clever or damn stupid and are gonna get stung big time.

As long as their is a shortage, the prices will hold as they are or even inflate. It looks like we are all keeping hold of our stock by what has been sold on this site lately. NOT A LOT! Ebay is dead at the moment and has been for a few weeks too.  i think that it has hit its peak now. I am sure prices will come down a touch in the new year.
