as its ok over chrome can i assume it would alright over a polished nickle finish too ?

yes mate no probs, one thing i do know is that if the chrome has marks that have cut through the chrome

it will show as small black marks when the red goes on :(

i painted a sample first and noticed the marks, then the sample with the chrome powder first was perfect ;)
