Joey Deacon, there's a blast from the past, he invented the internet..okay, well he might not have, but I'm sure he had the first web page. Was on blue peter as I remember, they built him a bungalow out of milk bottle tops well, Peter Duncan (the one Bond does in with a sword in flash Gordon) and Simon Groome built the bungalow, and Sarah Green noshed Joey off (that's why her hubby was angry and tried to kill himself and her by crashing his helicopter in some trees). There was some money left over, joey bought a wicker ship with it, then he threw his shoe in the thames.
Blue Peter went down hill after that, and Peter Duncan went out one night and got loaded, then broke into the Blue Peter garden and wrecked it. many years later Les Ferdinand claimed he did it, but he was lying, he just wanted sound cool to the hoodies. Sarah Green left and was replaced by Sophie Ellis Bextors mum...who then had to be gotten rid off as she fell pregnant (Percy Thrower was believed to be the father) and was un-married, so the Beeb dropped her.
