anyway, those pedals are ok but as Munners said get some SX there are still a fair few around and prices are good.

pedals in 1983 were plentiful. KKT, shimano, suntour, SR, MKS and on it goes. all of these brands are still available in 1/2 & 9/16 at realistic prices (well except the suntours, they are a bit pricey) from different vendors and ebay. pedals are probably the easiest part of a build.
