Good to hear your home now mate.

Read that book and your broken leg will seem easy.

Get that leg fixed and get back down the ramp to pull that trick to get your confidence back!!!

Speak to you soon

Thanks Sean - anything to cheer you up mate.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital posted the following picture on their website following your visit.

They are still shocked at the state of your toe nails - apparently the triage nurse needed counseling!

Visited Sean last night when I dropped his car over to him.

He seemed in good spirit all things considering.

Good luck Sean today on your first day all by yourself.

Just to clear up what happened for those that dont know:

Thought i would get a Charlton session in the night before the xmas gig at creation, all started well enough, was gettin some nice height over the volcano and was ridin nice and smooth considering i hadn't ridden all week.

We decided to play a game of P.I.G for a laugh....... :(
Started of with one foot airs, downside first which was kool as ive done these for a while  ;) Then topside, which ive never done before but managed a couple of small ones.

Then one-handed airs, topside first, again this was kool cos i was doin em in the 90's at L-O-S  ;) pulled three, each one a bit bigger than the last  :daumenhoch:.

Now this is where it all went a bit Pete......Downside one-handers! Never done em before, first one cm's, second one inches, third one well off.....a bit too much off, cos i didnt get it back on in time.

Blam! Bike jerks violently right on landing resulting in my left foot being jerked off the pedal and underneath me (all 13st of me) as i came off the back of the bike.
I kinda knew i was fooked before i finished sliding and didnt even try to get up. However, i definately knew i was fooked when i looked down at my foot and it was off to the left a bit more than it should have been....if ya know what i mean?

An eary silence ensued, followed by a phone call to emergency services (and a 50 minute wait on a freezing cold night for an ambulance) Gettin me over the volcano was fun!

A massive thanks to all my brothers who stuck with me all night and beyond: Darren Clagget, Meddle, SpicyBob, Spencer, Superfly, Young Greg who rode in the ambulance with me, TwoBob for the post op counselling and DVD's  :daumenhoch: I am forever in all your debt. Also thanks for everybody's support on this thread.

The maddest thing was that i felt little or no pain when it happened, nothing like you expect a broken leg to be!
Mind you, it fookin hurt when they pushed it all back into place for the temporary cast before my op.  :'(

Breakin ya leg is the easy part anyway, its the recovery that tests you...........boring with a cap B!
I think we all take our legs for granted, its not til you cant use them that you realise how hard life is without fully functioning ones.....its a bugger!

See ya in the spring......peace and love!

sean, your xray looks just like mine although my break was higher up,   so how you getting on mate,

i was nine days in hospital, a wheelchair after for about six weeks ;)  great time getting drunk in a wheel

chair, what a laugh, one night my mate pushed me back home from a party, he was drunk and so was i and

he pushed me nearly two streats to my house  at full running speed, then collasped on my driveway fooked ;D

i thought i was  going to die that night or going back to hospital  ;D

all the best mate and we'll see you soon :daumenhoch:
