Upgrading to a new bike + top tube measurement

Any particular reason why you want to get another bike Shings? Please don't tell me you're getting caught up in the bike weight thing...
I would think that both Trev and StevieB could build you a new complete bike for your budget. I know Stevie definately could. :)

Yeh its the weight I think... although I dont actually know what mine weighs if I am honest.
I had a go on Meddles at Corby and it just seemed better all round.. he had a go on mine (this was before I had got in and out of the mini) he set off and popped out- just.. had a ride around and then came back to his- popped out about 700ft in the air... so theres definatly something in it.
My 1 and only fall off at Skaterham made me think about it...
I was learning pegging in with Raarman and Trev.. went down.. didn't really get enough speed to come back up and couldn't jump out of the mini either and I felt it was down to the weight of the bike.
In reality- its 1 I am trying to run before walking has been mastered or 2 my bike is too heavey?
Thanks for the comments everyone else.. got a few options- gonna have a trip down to ride for a butchers too I reckon.

jake get your ass over to bones next weekend and have ride around on everyopnes bikes see what feels best ansd go from there .sta will be heavy sunday is good well most are good now over 200 ish quid your gonna get summat good .my view is dont go to long as i tried we the people with long tt when i had me haro and found it hard to ride greg
