Zeronine project

Right, just got my 87 zeronine in the post today, after removing the 'American Rifle Association' sticker from the headtube, i've dremelled and filed the dropouts into good shape and am gonna take to the shotblasters in the morning.

It looks like this:



but will hopefully end up like this:


i'll keep those interested posted on the progress.......I know it's a long shot but if anyone has any good nic chrome 7L's that they want to swap for chrome ukais (non speedline), please let me know.

I'm not gonna replicate that bike, god knows why i had a leary turbo saddle on my bike anyway! I've still got the chrome dc 890 brake though!  I'll just build it with some nice bits from that time.......

Its good that you aint gunna be a slave to your old setup. I bet you, like most people, changed parts on it quite often anyway so the photo is just how it was that day.

It would have been easier if you didnt have such expensive tastes back then, eh?
