Will nitormours get the paint of a sugino chainwheel?

This is a picture of my Pro Class Power disc, it was blue originally, I stripped it using Caustic Soda and then buffed it using my polishing wheel.

use a dremmel or buffing wheel to get chrome like finish, i usually start with autosol, then peek, then t-cut then a decent wax

went to get my SR chainring stripped at the metal finishing department at my work before i get them to anodise it gold (for my AERO PRO) :smitten:
apparently they are not annodised but painted with coloured laquer :wtf:
so i have been advised to nitromorse it before i take it back for plating!!! :santa_angry: :santa_angry:
