Take it to the coaters and they can remove it by putting it in the oven at a very high temp, so they informed me?  :santa_undecided:

It usually comes off with stripper, but failing that. Soak a rag with celly thinners, wrap around the stem and place in a sealed bag. Leave for an hour, and the powder will just wire brush off. Ad

cool i'll give that a try. i cant understand it. i've got the same stem but in black and that came straight off.weird  :santa_cheesy:.
