anyone know prices of posting to the usa?
electro808:
That sounds far too much to me. I sent Dansharos a complete FS880 brakeset last week and they cost me about £15 to send (insured) - yours should cost between £15 to £20 (insured and tracked), i guess. Try and get it tracked (airsure) so the guy at the other end can't turn around and say it didn't turn up. Your best bet is to wrap it up in it's box/jiffy and take it to the Post Office for an estimate next time you're there.
I also had to send a Haro Master f+f to the States a couple of weeks ago and that cost me £70 (without tracking)  Luckily, it went to someone trustworthy or I could have been well out of pocket. Thanks for that, Parcelforce :tickedoff:
Those lucky buggers in America don't get charged import duty, either. Unlike us who get shafted (or use the old gift + low value trick ;)) every time we buy something from over there. :wtf:
You can set buyer restrictions on your auctions to stop (unauthorised) US bidders from bidding on your stuff :daumenhoch:

went to post office and it cost 11quid :-[just had to send a 28quid refund but at least its sorted airmail insured as well at that :)

should have told him to feck off. different with somebody you know but random starngers ignoring your auction description is another matter. hope you don't get shafted in the end.
