Just picked this up :)
Swivel:
After a very long time, I'm now the proud owner of a Skyway TA frame/forks. This one needs a bit of work but I reckon with a rechrome it'll be sweet. The drop outs are almost perfect and it has no dents anywhere. It did however have an alloy seat post stuck in, and most of that is out now but some is still present in the seat tube towards the middle/bottom of it. Speaking with Rhys (lazychubs) today, he said that caustic soda will dissolve that alloy, so will be trying that soon. As I'm reducing my collection to only my favourite bikes, this is a nice addition and something i'll definately keep always along with my 85 Haro Master, Haro Gen 1 Freestyler, 85 GT Pro Performer, Kuwahara Lazerlite, Ammaco Freestyler and Torker 2 (when it arrives) ;)
What do you reckon? I do love a nice TA :smitten: Aim is definately to get this rechromed and not powdered white. Serial is:

Best Bmx f+f EVER!
Nice one. ;)
motomagII:
that looks really good as is.is there any bad rust if not why not try oxalic acid bath and then polish it to death .look like it will come up really minty without the cost of rechromeing
Swivel:
Greg, there isn't any bad rust so to speak but it was heated up around the seat tube part and its made a lot of the chrome flake off. A nice rechrome will do this beauty justice :daumenhoch:
lazychubs:
