GT Mini id

Does anyone know how many different types of GT mini's there were, I picked one up the other day, the serial number on the inside of the right dropout is 5831189 but it also has  "JR" stamped near it, the downtube is really thin and the top tube is normal old school size.
I assume its may 1983?
