Tyres. Tioga/Mitsuboshi OldSchool Question....

Does anyone know when Tioga merged/took over Mitsuboshi in the 80's?
Also when was the Comp IV launched?

I'm trying to date a set of Mitsuboshi Silver Star Competition IV tyres which have a label like this...



There is no Tioga markings anywhere on the tyres,so they are obviously pre takeover when Tioga arrived and the green blue labels came in like this..



I know i had a set of the green blue label comp IV's in 1984,so that would suggest the label up top were 82/3.

I remember comp2s, but was there a mitsi tyre produced before that Ie; a "comp 1"??

comp 4`s deffo came out in 84 i remember my spoilt mate gettin a set  ... we all hated him for it
