It's similar to a womans need to accessorise.

They like buying ornaments and then changing their minds and buying pebbles or scented candles.

What your experiencing is that high that women get shopping.

And probably its some nesting instinct as well.

Just getting you bike just right and then you notice something and you have to have it to improve your build.

Its a vicious circle.

You wont find perfection but that High will keep you looking for it.
