he advertised them wrong joining the dia and the compe up is a no no :)lucky for me.ive got a set of blue nos cables spare and a quick release lever as well :)

What makes you say that? I'd say that the market is strong if a set of used of DC MX whatevers in blue with faded decals aftermarket brakepads, and used scratched tech 3's made a £100! Its gotta be the going rate for used gear?  ::)
