RATTY:
I had to laugh at this, we was all asking this question when we started back.
I use scott new school brake pads now and they stop a lot better than the old blocks, try any new school blocks on it and the longer ones seem to do the trick.
Cool stops were great but I managed to destroy an MX1000 when they got dragged into the wheel by the strength of the pads
darkersomeday:
try some new school pads,
heatsink :daumenhoch:
pricey but by bugger do they stop! :daumenhoch:
Voodoocars:
I got some Acor pads for mtb.Transparent and soft.Stop really well on new school black rims.Probably as good on anything. Squeal like a stuck pig tho'.
