Anyone tried dying grips?

I'm struggling to find a certain make of grip in blue.  I can get some in yellow so I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried (successfully) to alter the colour of a pair of grips?  A long shot I know..... :-\

I've been hunting blue Tange ones. I don't think it's possibleto dye them, but even it it was - yellow to blue sounds unlikely, mushy green sounds the probable outcome.
