A quick tip with brasso - drop a couple of loose bearings in the can & shake well before & regularly during use, it helps mix the 'good stuff' that settles at the bottom of the tin.   :daumenhoch:

and remember that brasso takes off the chrome , thats how it works by removing layers of the surface metal you are polishing

go too mad and your down to nickel, best i have used is wonder chrome , it removes dirt without taking the chrome off
