skyway back to black brothers and sisters! UPDATED ,FITTED
stfc:
bought from ebay for 11 quid approx 4 hrs work and from this to this bearings were seized as was the freewheel, all stripped and regreased new bearings etc, process was , dishwasher on a 65 deg cycle, bleached for an hour, sanded completely with 1000 grade wet and dry, boiled in 2 ebony black dylons for 2hrs and left to cool over night, resanded, dyed in 3 more ebony blacks for 2 hrs and then wd40,d and dried and finally polished with autoglym, i now have a useable 100% straight tuff2 that will replace a later sealed bearing tuff 2 for that original look...any white marks on the photo are from the camera flash , i have also scratched the tube side of the wheel with a sharp knife to see how deep the black has sunk and no white is evident so hopefully no brake rub will remove the dye ... time will telll...
