i realised that after i looked back in , :idiot2:sorry mods  :daumenhoch:

ovenpride cleans up alloy pretty well, then polish with anusol, i mean, autosol.

it strips annodisation from alloy though. so be careful, burns fingers abit too, but not as bad as caustic.
