TIM MARCH AND THE MRD PROTOTYPE
se bikes:
IMO leave it be, every ding and dent is a little bit of history that'll be wiped away with a full on resto, if you want a minty one buy NOS, if you want history get out some hard earned cashola and bid for the above :daumenhoch:
Good on Tim for helping out a BMX bro with this kind gesture too :4_17_5: :4_17_5:

Here here, even as a Freestyler who never ever raced I knew who Tim was and what he stood for - top bloke!!!
Daz. :daumenhoch:
RATTY:
Daz, dont forget Tims jumping was awesome as well, I think there was a skatepark in Poole? he was getting 10 foot plus airs to flat out of the bowl

Love the pic ! .................................
I'm leaning towards the "leave as is" but deffo supply new decal set .
BUT .................
Would it raise more money refinished/decalled ? , perhaps the auction winner would'nt be one of the usual suspects/collectors ? .
--- End quote ---
Thats my point Matt, the question was asked would it fetch more painted and decalled and I recon it would....I die hard collector would want it as is but I think it would fetch more with forks, painted, decalled and some sort of signiture or note on the top tube to anyone, widen the sales net ;)
Its to raise money and it would say more that way!??
could be wrong though, as usual the evil place would decide!!!

;)
I have the ideal solution ?? .
The winner of the auction has the following choices:
1. To receive frame as is with seperate new decals .
OR
2. It can be finished to winners spec. ie re-powdered white for instance & decalled ( and signed by Tim ) .
Best of both worlds & guaranteed the best cashola bid , fingers crossed from someone with mucho deep pockets ;) .
