Kuwahara E.T replica build, With Pics...
bodamus:
Just to mess things up for you even more if you measure a KYZ Frame the same as that picture the measurements are 13" and 11" well just over 13 and just over 11 actually.

Glynnyboy:
 ??? that does throw :10_2_12: a little bit. So if gremlin's frame was jimwise68 at sometime does that mean that it was a drilled out hot heart that had been chromed or a chrome E.T.
I think it say's over on jamies that some people confused the kyz as a chrome et but it's not. I read somewhere that after the popularity of the film died out some of the et frames were surplus and redone (maybe paint, maybe chrome) differently and sold on. I read somewhere the hot heart didn't come out til 83'. Confused!!! Just a bit.....
Question, were the same forks put on the kyz and the hotheart?
bodamus:
The Forks on Gremlins are the correct Forks for a KYZ don't know about Hotheart Forks.
The hole in the Gussett for a KYZ is always the large type and I think all genuine KYZ's are 1982.
The reason for changing the size of the hole to a smaller one was it was less likely to crack. All early KZ-1's have the large hole in the gusset and all KZ-2's have a small hole in the gussett.
KYZ's have the Large hole gussett because they are older Frames all 1982.

jT Racing:
LOL. where the feck are all these different sized frames coming from. .
GREMLIN:
The frame set is supposed to be sent out to me as of today. So when it arrives during next week i'll have the chance to give it a good going over and compare it's dimensions etc. :)
I'm looking forward to it >:D G. :daumenhoch:
