Rust - is it an issue?

pickle have you put a scratch in it yet ?

you do know they dont put any extra coats on , its just the same thickness of clear without the paint underneath

yep there are scratches on it but no rust!  and i've ridden it in the rain (peed down actually) but no rust......if you like it go for it.......they do look trick!  :daumenhoch:

maybe they have realised they needed to make it thicker over the years

be carefull with it though

i do have to admit though that i do only get to ride it about 2 or 3 times a month!  so mine might not be a good example of how they age?  plus i do clean it down afterwards which not everyone does??  :-\

I doubt I'd ride it more than 4 times a month with the other riding I do so its perhaps only a fair weather / indoor bike so maybe I'm worrying about nothing. It'll be kept indoors so doubt it will be an issue overall.
