fouronethreeoh!:
Defo an 83 goose.
Platform added by a very good welder, by the looks of the uniform tig welds.
By comparing them to the welds of the headtube gusset you can see the difference.
Build it up for a unique o/s rider, and enter bike of the year ;)
p.s. quality Hutch donut seatclamp by the way (bit corroded though)

--- Quote from: adam01 on June 01, 2008, 03:18 PM ---hey this is an easy investigation
back in the days there were bike parks for parents to take there young children IE: like a family day out but in the local council parks which kids had to line up and wait for there turn to get a free bike for halfhour to ride a round . The park was laid out with traffic lights and you had to stop when lights were such colour this was to help for children to understand the safety of the roads which can be very dangerous. so yes its a free rental bike made up specially for these parks. hope this helps
Adam
PS: there were probably 50 of these bikes made up for each assigned location

is there any info or pictures to back this up please ! cheers B ;)

Some of those welds don't look too shabby for an aftermarket job though....
Wouldn't it be great if it was an undiscovered prototype? But I think the frame is too early for that kind of thing. Californians looked different around the time the trickstar came out.
