Cycle Pro Shotgun question

Steve, youre right about the dates.

I have 2 Cycle Pro Shot Gun originals (the one with the holes in the side and looks like an early Kashi MX.)

The yellow one i have has the dates 5/83 and the blue one has the date 3/82 in  separate circles just like that only towards the nose end of the saddle.
