What year?

Interesting as they have come off of an '84 GT Performer Survivor. The bloke had the bike 'serviced' at his local bike shop 8 years ago and the shop fitted new grips, front brake and levers only. At no stage had the bike had new forks put on it!??????? He reckons the forks have been on it since 84. ???

Were Dyno around back in '84. These forks look midskool to me? :-\
