Redline "Triangle" on fork decals - Significance? & id please..
Brandy Truffle:
What does it mean? Something to do with freestyle products?
I have some flight crank decal sheets from redline and some have the little red triangle above the redline,so wondered what it was for and when it was introduced.
Also does this mean these are a freestyle fork from the PL?
I need some PL forks for the frame i got from Ratty and thought these may be ok? They say PL and 5" headtube orig chrome and decals but i cant age them as i dont recognise em :-\
Any help appreciato guys.Thanks.
ron burgundy:
Stickers from 85 onwards, they are PL20 forks, RL20 forks would have holes for the pegs...
:)

Thats what i would have thought, but photos of a couple of early 84 Prostylers here http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=22288
show they had no peg holes and someone comments the forks are slightly beefier at the top, which these are.. ???
But then, the seller says decals are original, so that must mean 85 onwards like you say.
Hmmm.What to do..What to do... :-\
Cheers for your help :daumenhoch:
