If so, has anyone done this? Mine are black but I'm sure they are black anodised. Wouldn't mind them shiny silver... let me know...

meticulous:
took mine to chromers and they polished up as good as chrome with the bearings still in place, now got them on a hutch with single pinch arms :daumenhoch:
