Well done Billy.
Are you the new 40+ Andy Ruffell (kicking butt on the race track and on the ramps)? ;)

everywhere alex...
fire alarms, thuggery in the city centre..
you know, you can have a lot of fun out on the town WITHOUT having an adverse effect on anyone else (ie the general public)
seems like a lot of kids don't get that these days..
we were having the best laugh, a bunch of us sat in the foyer just talking about rubbish (in fact alex, you came up mentioned as a pineapple , dreads sticking out of a sleeping bag at a LOS jam, i nearly wet myself) when youth entered regaling stories of two completely random germans getting stoved in by a load of english because, get this, they got out of their car to complain that a kid had kicked it.. killed the mood, we all just went to bed one by one..
i don't get the mentality.........

Yeah, its that kind of thing that killed off the Backyard Jams. Stu and Ian didnt need to be babysitting BMXers, they just wanted to put on good riding.

Talking of old LOS jams, at MK yesterday I bumped into Duncan and Gary (who used to ride with Mason Smith). Ive not seen them for ages, Gary has a 6 year old son who it totally into BMX racing. Both top blokes, great to see them again.
(I can even try to pull my reply back on topic by saying I went to a few of the Worlds in Germany with them in the 90s)

I hear ya Alex. Last Backyard Jam I went to was the year when some idiots decided it was fun to throw glass bottles into the camp site at night and some young lad got knocked unconscious by one (1997 I think). I just got the feeling that that wasn't what BMX was about.
