is there a 1/2" to 9/16" pedal spindle adapter?

helicoil just means you cut a deeper thread and then screw in a steel spring (sort of) into it. Its great for putting a steel thread into ally but cos you have to cut it deeper in the first place they wouldnt help this problem.

i know but you could put an oversize helicoil that fits into a 9/16ths thread and may take it to 1/2 sod it get em migged in ;D

Ah, I see. Good idea. Are the threads the same pitch?
