Who's NEVER given up bmx?
superbikedan:
in my mind a lifer always, it will never die,
for me started in 79/80 rode full on till 85/86 raced for a team at many big comps and won a few nice trophys in my time
and was even in the first freestyle comp at pickets lock if my memorys right ;D
where andy ruffle won the tv ;D
then after, freestyle all the way, new this is what i loved, going big at rom with all the old skoolers was the best
time i had and with all the best from bitd,
then the massive gap :-[ done loads in my life but every now and the the old bmx
would pop up in my head, remenissing about this or that, even took my old scrap book
to one of my clubs that i run and showed the other doorman my pics ;D
started back for me taking my boy to rom 5 years ago and giving him a cheap bmx, just watching him roll around
brought back all the memories and are now involved bigger then ever,
these last two years have seen me in germany twice, countless trips up and down the country to differant skateparks,
more comps then i can remember, not for me but for my boy,
been interviewed on tv as well as billy, started painting some old skool bikes then going off big time, probs 200 plus
bikes now and being the proudest dad ever being with my boy watching him be ten times better then i ever was :daumenhoch:
the best sport ever :4_17_5:
