i've tried twice now to dye my blue alloy hubbed tuffs with this stuff.
and twice they came out as they went in lol.

are you using MP (multipurpose) and not the standard little tins that need a fixer to take to any thing ?

you need piping hot water
a tub that can be covered to keep the heat in
a shed load of salt works best for opening up the pours
turning regularly to get a even colour as the colour sinks
and left for about 15 hours

colour depends on volume of water to how many tins you use and the time left in

always dye mags in pairs to get both the same colour shade

well this is the way i do it  :D

I tried Woolies here in Harrogate but the cupboard was bare!

But got lucky at a material shop and a local art supplies shop. Try these kind of shops if there are any near you. Infact any shops to do with materials, sewing buttons etc, they might point you in the right direction  :daumenhoch:

PS No black dye left in Harrogate, its now all at my secret underground layer  :coolsmiley:
