VECTOR - History please?

(1/3) > >>

Swivel:
As you probably seen on the for sale section, i'm lucky enough to get myself a Vector Mark II frame/forks, but I'd like to know more about them please. What's the history behind them? Did Haro have anything to do with Vector? Has anyone got any magazine scans of Vector?

Thanks in advance,

I nearly bought one in 84. The only place my dad could find was a shop called Hot Wheels in Bournmouth which was miles away (from Cardiff). Ended up with the TRM because it was 5oz lighter  ??? I was having a good stare at that at MK, be nice to see it built.

That white one looks a beaut! did'nt they have a low bottom bracket on them? that made them a little strange to ride? ???

SE mark had one for a while to race in old skool,i rode it and it felt awfull  :( the dimensions just seemed odd,to much rake on the forks etc  :-\

brass monkey!:
the early one's were made by VDC, but latter one's were independant I think. The brake bride is different I think,

Someone like Baldbmx'er may be able to help as I think he's got a Vector ? I sold mine ages ago, they are nice though
