why can't i set up my oddy evolvers, any advice.

taken my brake off the back of my bike as its never really worked, so gave it a clean and went to fit again. when i took off i noticed the one side was just flapping about, no tension now i have re-fitted and tighten the spring tension pulls the block onto the rim, have swopped around and still does the same, whats going on?????

Springs are sided I think, dia compe hombre springs are different colours
