What rims for freestyle??
Linus27:
Got my 1984 Gen 3 Haro Sport frame and forks now and so I am looking at what parts to get to build into a complete bike. The first problem is what rims or wheels to get. My second choice is a set of white Skyways. However, I would really like to have a set of rims. I know a lot of people use Peregrine 48 rims but these can be expensive.
What other rims would be suitable for freestyle stuff, for light ramp and flatland?
Just to say, I will be riding the bike so I need some rims that are useable.
Thanks

I'm not going to ride it all the time. I have my new school Kuwahara Bravo 3 for my everyday ride. I will just ride it for special occasions. For example, this novice night at Creation, if the bike was built I would bring it along to ride at that along with my Kuwahara.

Choice of Skyways, Skyways, Skyways, then you could always go for Skyways, maybe even a pair of Skyways :LolLolLolLol:.
Choice is yours, if 84 I'd look at Skyways, ACS Z Rims or Araya Aeros ;).

Hey MartyC, what about some Skyways :):)
I would like some ACS Z Rims but they would probably be around 20 years old and not sure if in much condition to ride. Araya Aeros might be good. I'll try and check some out. If not, then Skyways might be my only option which is not a bad move.
