Anyone tried any of these.....
SaMAlex:
James Hitchcox uses some trials blocks but Im not sure what they were.
His worked very very well, and he was using black rims (black rims never usually work as well as chrome rims).
kev-s:
£20 for brake blocks and it says replacement inserts are £9.99
ill stick to my kool stop supra 2's for £9.99 and they last me 2 years and have never let me down on a chrome rim
most of my trials friends actually take a grinder to the edge of their painted rim to roughen it up so the blocks work better, after a while the block wears the rim smooth again and the blocks dont work as good so out comes the grinder again
magna13:
Well £20 For Some Brake Blocks Is Well To Much. I Always Find The Good Ol' Standard Green Tektro Brake Blocks As They Stop Pretty Well.
Acor Do Some Brake Blocks That Are Clear. Great Stopping Power!, But If You Dont Ride Your Bike For A While They Go Very Hard And When You Brake They Squeek Like A Dog Having His Nuts Chopped!
Plus The Acors Are Only A Fiver! ;) ;)
daz bmx it!:
Are They made of edam cheese! :D
