New school ride, old school parts needed.
sadken:
Hi there people, old skooler here (Kuwahara Laserlite back in the day) who has just bought a new GT Power Series Pro 2008 model.
The bike is light and fantastic for everyday needs just crusing up and down the seafront cycle track but on the odd occasion I need a sit down I have 2 issues.
One...the seat is to low/near the bars and two the bars are too low.
My question is this, which NOS bars and seatpost/seat combo would suit my needs to give me a bit more legroom/seating comfort.
(Apologies if this post is the wrong place..newbie! and thaks for any replies)
HEYWOOD BMX:
:) Go for S&M Slam bars ,can`t go wrong there. The frame is just a 20" toptube,if so could be a bit short.Try a long reach stem too.As for seats/posts,there are a million to choose from, just personal preference really.

how tall are you? im 6ft 1 and i have a 21.75" bike and its nice to cruise on. 20" sadly is just to small :(

I am 6ft and it is a little short but if I can just extend my arms and back end, I think I will be ok!
