my pride and joy

pickle:
After about four years of thinking about it i finally bit the bullet and started to rebuild an old school ride, as all of us on here i spent every day light hour i could riding my old BMX back in the 80's, so this is a picture of my pride and joy (yes yet another green Skyway) but i have to admit to liking the colour as it's the same as i had bitd, the colour that is not the bike.
sorry for the quality of the picture, it was taken on my phone.

It has had a few changes/updates from this picture. I have ditched the pads other than the stem pad, i have added some blue brakes and the crank, either looking to add some blue Comp III's or white walls not sure yet.

Once i get some better quality pics i will update the museum page.

Bring on all the streetbeat bashers   :'(

ORB:
I like it.

Go with Green Haro tires from Alans, Skatepool, Vert-ego or Rude's

Stodgy:
Nice one Pickle - I'm gonna build a Streetbeat after I finish my Performer...

I agree with orb, go for those green Haro tyres!

Keep us updated.
 :)

dordymush:
looking good there i know everybody takes the mick out of the green beats but when these frames come out in 84/5 they were the dogs 8ollox.so i cant see what the joke is now to be honest. you dont get comments on all them masters that are about .this frame was well on par with that bitd.the top rider of the day was riding a streetbeat so they could'nt have been that bad eh  ???.

ORB:
So, not biased at all Dave ;)
