I wonder why the crank axle bent?

Stripped Harrison's bike down for a service on Saturday night, re-building the cranks, discovered that the crank axle is bent :wtf:  Surprised that a 7 year old that weighs about 4 stone could do such damage :LolLolLolLol:
Hasn't stopped him riding it though. :daumenhoch:
The place I got the bike from are contacting the suppliers to check it is covered under warranty.
