I want to strip my Haro Group 1 RS2. How much to chrome it?

I recently bought a Haro group 1 RS2 but hate the red and black colour. I would like to have it chromed. Does anyone have a rough idea how much it would cost? Thanks.

Depends on where you go, Doug Taylor in Bristol does a cracking job (see Stidds or Gasheads builds) for around £200 give or take a few quid.  There are a couple of places in London but very pricey, one off the Old Kent Road I can't recall the name of and one in Hounslow I can't recall either  :-[.  There is a thread in the tech stickies that gives a few names of good chromers, but it always helps if the frame was chromed before as the tubes have already been polished.  Alternatively you could get SDB to give it a cool colour powdercoat  :daumenhoch:.

As Marty said, about £200 for a decent job. It's the polishing of the frame that takes most of the time and money. As an example my polisher charges £30 per hour and it'd take 4-5 hours to do a f&f properly.

i've got an RS1,red front,black middle with chrome rear end and it's all chrome under the paint!

why not just get a custom powder coat job n some del custom decals  :4_17_5: n with the change yer can have an evening at the pub and have enough for kebab on way home  :2funny: :2funny:
