how hard can it be to build a bmx?!

(1/1)

mic:
there isnt that many parts to it, if i had all bits needed is it as straight forward as it looks?! are there any 'specialist' tools needed? would people look at me funny if i had stabilisers on it?  ;D

vdubferret:
Wow straight into building: I am impressed.

Some will tell you about bearing presses & all specialist tools for this & that. I did a ground up Haro Resto with a multi-bike tool from Halfrauds, two tyre levers & mallet and piece of wood (for the bearing cups). Twas always easy BITD & shall remain so!  ;)

pickle:
it's p*ss easy to do!  as long as you know what goes where and so on (yes sounds obvious i guess) but you'd be surprised how many people put loose ball cage bearings in the wrong way and so on.

as far as bearing presses for the cups.........as said above........rubber mallet and a nice big chunck of wood and carfully does it  :daumenhoch:
