scary_leary:
i dont have before pic's..but believe me they were shagged.
Frosty:
Did they do the prep work aswell or did you have to spend hours rubbin'?
They look great. I have sent a set of crank arms and some manky brake calipers to the folks at Clevedon Chroming, once I get these back I'll compare with the stuff I had done at castleford Chrome and post pics etc. I may well send the next batch of bits to Leigh's.
oberonspacefruit:
have you had a quote for f+f mr leary?
scary_leary:
yeah they do all the prep..
never taken a f/f..but you will have too take parts in, they dont really quote over phone.
jezza off here and the burner forum has used them..and was well pleased.
i once took a set of steel pro class rims in for matt ..aka, mattgaybeat and was quoted £120
they said alot of work had too go into polishing around every little hole, so i reckon a f/f set should be around £150 maybe £120
oberonspacefruit:
yeah, i have had problems with rims, they have to be carefull, otherwise the big polishers they use widen the spoke holes. thus it takes a lot more time, thus it cost a lot more.
