Straightening mags in the freezer - urban myth??

For my own peace of mind, people have heard of this method/rumour before haven't they, just checking I didn't dream it!!

i think if you have bent one, the plastic will be stretched
its the only way you can really bend one

if your going to try, heat them and over stretch in the opposite direction.

perhaps clamped to the dining table (to please her indoors) or a flat surface, with the wobbly bit overhanging and with a significant weight attached for a while.
