Tuff neck pots mod
Glynnyboy:
I am wanting to use a tuf neck stem on my firebird and have the pots mod set up.At the moment it has a normal bolt. Is a conversion kit available, How easy or hard is it? Any help appreciated.

Just have to swap the standard bolt for a hollow one - not sure how avaialble they are though :-\

Only just started looking and noticed yours and the one on db's kuwy. I am sure i saw something on ebay once just trawling through but i wasn't after one then. Just wondered if any one knew any info or could point me in the right direction :daumenhoch:

I think I have some ACS ones that will fit, you may have to drill your stem out a bit though as they are a bit wider :)

Thanks matey, i think i will try to do a bit more research into it 1st. I am nearly sure i have seen somewhere that tuf neck did a kit themselves. A bit more homework i think.
Phantom photons yours looks well cool. I have a black one in an old db stem from the late 80's early 90's , it looks a little like an acs . The one you have looks like a hollow bolt topped off with an axle nut. The way it fits with the tuf neck bolt looks cool. It must have been especially made because most pots bolts don't have a thread at the top aswell enableing you to do what seems to have been done on yours.
