Just finished lacing up a new front wheel

<< < (2/2)

LucyLastic:
It does look nice, though, can't wait to see finished bike.

fuzzywig:
It's not wonky   I've not fully tensioned it up yet maybe that's why it looks wrong to you.  Bit unsure of the ally nips some of the holes in 'em seem a bit off centre.  Still,  all just a bit of fun...  How low do you dare go

stidds:
Looks great, nice looking wheel.

Once it is trued and tensioned, take it for a short ride and then retension the spokes again as they need to bed in.

Ramp Rat:
that looks lovely - very brave to attempt lacing a wheel, bet it was a fun task, bit like knitting but much cooler.

fuzzywig:
I have to come clean...  It's not my first,  been doing 'em for a while now.  20" wheels are a bit boring, can't get enough spoke lengths to do anything fancy.  It's great they come in all the pretty colours now :) .  Just a shame you're limited to 3X and 4X lacing.

This was much more fun 26" hybrid crows foot (radials and 2X)
