I think that chart up there ^^^^^^^ is a bit mixed up/misleading . Not your fault Mr Fett  ;)

Yellow label Comp III should go after Comp II for instance .

Any info on the right dates ? - I could butcher the pic with the right info  :-\

Oh - I just took a look at the molded markings on the knarler knobbys i just got off goose1 and there is one that says N83 so 1983 era for the knarlers maybe ?  :-\

Yeah the martinbike website is ace - good source of reference pics  :daumenhoch:
Unfortunatley it doesn't give a start of production / end of production date range for each product but you can read between the lines and get a pretty good idea.
 - i had a quick scan through and the mitsuboshi tyres he has up there look to fall in the date ranges i posted above so that lists probably not far off :-\

On the knarlers he's got them up as 1982 so i guess that N83 molding on my set probably is a date stamp as it's in the right neck of the woods (maybe it stands for Nov.83 ? )

Mattdub:
Knarlers were about earlier than most peeps think  ;)
