HUTCH 2IN1 HEADSET LOCK HELP PLEASE

Just got myself one of these but on comparison with others that i have pics of ive noticed they all seem to differ in which side the allen head is on ie some are opposite hand to others.   ???

Does anyone know the difference...is it to do with dates or different countries or factories or whatever.
