super tight freewheel!

Hi chaps,

trying to get a freewheel off of a mates rear tuff.

putting an amazing amount of torque through the thing and it just won't budge. :yahoo_silent:

maybe we are turning it the wrong way?

do they come of in pedal forward direction or pedal back?

A freewheel tightens as you pedal!!!

So the opposite will loosen it!  :daumenhoch:

Leverage is the key!!

I use a long lever and then twat it with a lump hammer!!  :daumenhoch:

Whichever way the freewheel spins freely is the way you have to unscrew it  :daumenhoch:
