anyone got any tricks to prizing open forks so I can get a wheel on? its just that bit too narrow and I can't for love nor money get the wheel on even by pulling the forks apart.
tools and work space limited at the mo coz i'm at the girlfriends gaff

Sure you don't need one of those front spindles with the cut outs in?

I don't remember having one on there before. its a 10mm axle and 10mm dropout
Its just an Aero Reflex i'm putting together for a buddy of mine

If I need a different axle i'm screwed coz i gotta deliver this bike today

i had the same problem on a pair of forks, had to go to my local LBS in the end, he had a tool that spread the forks, bit like a scissor jack
