mongoose california/ expert

i have an 83 mongoose californian and have a mongoose expert enroute, whats the difference in the 2 frame sets, they look the same?

I think the Californian had a mild steel rear triangle and Cro-mo main tubes

If you do a bit of searching on the site you'll find a few threads that touch on this including the legendary "what is a UK supergoose" thread/sticky basically the expert looks like it came in both all chromo and 3 main chromo at various points in it's life so I guess it depends on what year your expert was made and if it's an all chromo expert made in '83 you could do it up as a UK supergoose.......... :-X

This goose thing is mind blowing, i have a cali just need the wheels. but the above comments seems to be right. i tried reading all the bits and bobs posted on here on this subject and had a headache at the end of it :-[
